Multiple Grammy and CMA Award winner Willie Nelson, with 25 singles having reached #1 on the charts, Nelson is one of the most prolific singer-songwriters of our generation. His songs, including “On The Road Again,” “Mama Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys,” and “Always on My Mind,” crossed genres and his iconic style has made him one of the most recognized entertainers in the world. Concert Date: Friday - March 17, 2017 Two platinum selling artists in one phenomenal show. Billy Ocean has collected a pile of Gold and Platinum records “Love Really Hurts Without You,” “Caribbean Queen” (for which Billy won a Grammy for best R&B Vocal), followed by “Loverboy” and “Suddenly,” which became the first of Billy’s killer ballads. Charlie Daniels Band

The group scored its first hit “Uneasy Rider.” Since then they have populated radio with such memorable hits as “Long Haired Country Boy,” “The South’s Gonna Do It Again,” “In America,” “The Legend of Wooley Swamp” and of course, his signature song, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” The Marshall Tucker Band would wow critics and influence major country acts. Now, thanks to the expanding scope of today’s music, a new generation of fans is learning what the rest of their fans have known for so long- that good music knows no boundaries. Hillsboro Lighthouse

The Hillsboro Lighthouse Preservation Society was founded in 1997 for the purpose of preserving the historic Hillsboro Light Station in its original form for the safety, enjoyment, and education of the public. Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse is considered one of the world’s most powerful lights, with a stream of light that is visible for 28 nautical miles. There are informative signs at the lighthouse as well as brochures telling its history. You have to climb the 175 steps of the winding staircase to see the view from the top. From there, you can see the beaches of Pompano and Hillsboro. Working closely with the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) and the Coast Guard Auxiliary, the HLPS succeeded in its original goals. 
Butterfly World
Discover the world of butterflies, lorikeets, exotic plants and hummingbirds at the world’s largest butterfly park. Butterfly World is home to thousands of colorful butterflies. Thanks to years of research and meticulous planning, the right conditions for butterflies to feed, court, bask in the sun and fly were met. Most of the butterflies are bred at the park, so you can observe their whole life cycle and see pupae and rare caterpillars. Aside from interactive exhibits, the park also has a tropical rain forest aviary and hanging garden to help visitors learn more about butterflies. McNab Park McNab Park is home to a large shuffleboard center that contains some of the best shuffleboard courts in the area. The park also houses basketball courts, a children’s playground, racquetball and tennis courts and clubhouse facilities. Off Shore Fishing Pompano Beach is popular for off shore fishing. It’s possible to catch marlin, sailfish, sharks and tuna. There are off shore reefs where you can catch grouper and snapper. Pompano Beach also has numerous marinas that allow you to book an off shore fishing trip. Pompano Community Park Pompano Community Park is the largest park in the city. It covers over 43 acres of land and has picnic areas with softball and baseball fields, children's playground, two basketball courts, tennis center, jogging and walking trail, barbecue grills, volleyball courts, bike bath, amphitheater, aquatic center and exercise course. It’s also home to the Municipal Baseball Stadium. Pompano Beach Tennis Center Pompano Beach Tennis Center has sixteen clay tennis courts that are open to everyone. League playing and lessons are held regularly. Isle Casino and Racing Isle Casino and Racing is home to 4 restaurants, racing amenities, 1,500 slots and 38 poker tables. There’s also a wagering spot overlooking the track and a high-tech sports bar. The smoke-free facility is located only twenty minutes from North Miami and minutes from the Fort Lauderdale International Airport. |

Challenging the audience to get out of their comfort zones and explore their artistic limits. Through workshops, community outreach, and cultural events, the goal is to entertain and inspire audiences. The priority is to nurture creativity and provide spaces in which to incubate ideas and grow creatively at any age.
Pompano Beach Arts believes that the arts play an integral role in the culture and community.

The Public Art Committee strives to create artworks and a public art program that is inventive, unexpected and surprising and to collaborate with the community through its festivals and cultural facilities.
Over the last 2.5 years, the City has participated in projects including the Painted Pompano Series, Inside Out, Utility Box Wraps, Broward County VisualEYES Mural Program, and the Barefoot Mailman. Ali Cultural Arts is a platform to enrich the community through visual and performing arts. Visual art exhibitions will feature the best in local, regional, national and international artists, while intimate receptions will engage patrons in creative dialogue as they enjoy eclectic musical programs.
